Fall is one of the few times left when I really feel a sense of wonder just walking around in the evening and nighttime, just to see the high spooky cirrus clouds, the chill breezes, and the scent of fireplaces burning somewhere. It really reaches some inner level of emotion in me. Florida without humidity is truly a great place sometimes.

Agreed.

But it's so cuhhhh-hold!!! We seem to have skipped the non-humid sunshine part of late-summer early-fall. We seem to have passed from rainy skies to cold kind of suddenly.

I went running at 10pmish last night and it was quite nippy. My ears were crispy and my knees were freezing, and my lungs felt a little violated. And then I took a ridiculously long hot shower this morning which only means it's...

WINTER TIME!
(almost)

PS- Clouds are the bomb.

Indeed clouds are!

But I dunno that I would call this cold, yet. It's barely down into the high 60s, if even that. I think we've had two or three days so far of nice, cool non-humid sunshine.

I fucking love winter/fall/coolness in Florida! It reminds me: won't be long now until we go up to St. Augustine. That's such a beautiful, romantic place, I just love it so much. Especially when it's cold out, and winter-y.

We should hang out in this winter-y awesomeness sometime. Catch up on good ol times. :)

And during the day it's pretty nice, but at night it's pretty damned chilly.
